 In
1976 the Longs left Mexico to return to the U.S. But before completing
that move, they took a break and made a wonderful trip. First they
visited Anne's brother Fred Edwards and his family in Nigeria, where
Fred worked as an oil company engineer. From Nigeria Anne and Bob
traveled to the south of France, where they spent a few days in the
seaside town of Collioure. Inevitably Bob set up his easel, and Anne
brought out her sketchpad to produce this series of pen-and-ink
drawings.
