Bonnie Blue-Eyes
1988-1998

One day during a visit with some friends in Austin, the loveliest Siamese cat came by. She was so friendly and affectionate, and she was pregnant. Chris made the offhand remark that, if any of this cat's kittens turned out as sweet and pretty as the momma, she'd sure be welcome at Cactus Hill. Guess what Ed brought home a couple of months later!

Bonnie loved to spend her days outdoors. Her hunting prowess was quite remarkable, and after all, this is the country, you know. In May of 1998, Bonnie wandered off, probably in pursuit of some intriguing prey, and never returned. We miss her.
