April 11, 1988 - March 2, 2006

Our number one boy kitty for almost 18 years, Buster came to us from friends who fed his stray mother. He was just 6 weeks old. He spent a long and happy life here at Cactus Hill, and his spirit will be here always. 

Buster was a cuddler and a comic. Two or three times each year, Buster got a buzz cut, which was the only available solution to his hairball problem—and he loved it! He cooperated completely with the groomer, and paraded around proudly afterwards. He looked half his usual size, and sort of gawky, but still adorable. When we laughed, his look would say "What's so funny? I'm cool!" You can see both his long cut and his short cut (beginning to grow out) in the shots above.
