 My
mother designed and made this exquisite quilted vest,
a composition of hearts and flowers enhanced by the classic
grandmother's fan motif. It was finished just in time for my
parents' 50th anniversary celebration in 1989. Mom wore the vest for a
series of commemorative photos with my Dad. |
