| In
wintertime, all the potted cactus take to the indoors. Ed acquired this
school bus a few years ago and has made it into part greenhouse, part
hobby shop. In the front two-thirds of the bus, we've removed most of the
seats and installed shelves along the windows, giving the plants a perfect
winter home. Our two cockatiels also spend their winter in the bus. These
photos were taken in spring 2002 when Ed brought the pots back outside.
