Grandpa Cactus Grandpa Cactus

This prickly pear cactus was started when Ed picked one ear of a roadside plant near Fredericksburg, Texas, in 1985, and stuck it in the ground at Cactus Hill. Now Grandpa is 5 feet high and 10 feet wide and has spawned another 160 plants that serve as a living fence along our road.
