 Thursday,
June 29: Last evening we deposited Emilie back in Walden after a
wonderful few days together. We spent the night in Fort Collins,
Colorado, and left bright and early to begin our drive
home.
Arriving that afternoon back in the
Amarillo area, we decided to pay a return visit to Palo Duro
Canyon, which we first saw in 2002. We found it just as
remarkable this time around—an unexpectedly colorful and
interesting break in the flatlands that surround it. |
