Our tour included a landing on Winstanley Lake, one of dozens of such small freshwater lakes nestled in Misty Fjords. Throughout the area are many small cabins which can be rented from the Forestry Service, but only if you love solitude. Rent a cabin, and you and your supplies will be flown in and dropped off for your stay, all alone and on your own.
