Our
first port of call is Juneau, capital city of Alaska.
This is the only capital in the continental United States
that you can't drive to. With about 18,000 residents,
Juneau is Alaska's third largest city, after Anchorage
and Fairbanks. The Red Dog Saloon is Juneau's most famous, still full of frontier spirit. The sawdust on the floor is inches thick, and so is the atmosphere. |
