Yellowstone National Park: Bison

Yes, this guy really is as close as he looks. Visitors to the park are warned not to approach wildlife, and these guys are mighty big and dangerous. But they've seen so many tourists by now that our presence is hardly acknowledged.

It's really easy to spot wildlife in the park. Just look for lots of cars pulled off the road, and lots of tourists with their cameras poised and ready.
