For the remainder of our trip we encountered rain, rain, and more rain. We drove from southern Colorado down to Taos and Santa Fe, New Mexico, but did not spend much time there because of the weather. It wasn't much of a disappointment, though; we were both eager to get back home. After a quick stop in Roswell at the UFO Museum and Research Center, we scooted on home to Cactus Hill, thrilled with our adventure.
